गभीरे कासारे विशति विजने घोरविपिने
विशाले शैले च भ्रमति कुसुमार्थं जडमतिः ।
समर्प्यैकं चेतः सरसिजमुमानाथ भवते
सुखेनावस्थातुं जन इह न जानाति किमहो ॥

సమర్ప్యైకం చేతః సరసిజముమానాథ భవతే
సుఖేనావస్థాతుం జన ఇహ న జానాతి కిమహో ||

gabhIrE kAsArE = in the deep lakes (and) ghOravipinE = in the dark forests (and) viSAlE SailE = on the high mountains; bhramati = wanders around ; kusumArtham = for the sake of flowers (for worship) jadamatiH janaH = foolish people.
samarpya ekam cEtaH-sarasijam = by offering ONE flower called MIND
umAnAtha bhava tE = O Uma Naatha (O Lord of Uma!) on to THEE
sukhEna avasthAtum iha = be established in the sukha
na jAnAti kim ahO = why they (the jadamathi) do not understand?
One need not wander in difficult places in search of good flowers to worship the Lord. There is a best flower called one's own mind. By offering that conscious lotus at the feet of Lord one can establish himself in the eternal happiness!!
