యదావర్ణయత్ కర్ణమూలేఽన్త కాలే
శివో రామ రామేతి రామేతి కాశ్యాం
తదేకం పరం తారక బ్రహ్మరూపం
భజేఽహం భజేఽహం భజేఽహం భజేఽహం
yat AvarNayat karNa-mUlE anta-kAle
SivaH "rAma rAmEti rAmEti" kASyAm
tat Ekam param tArakabrahmarUpam
bhajE'ham bhajE'ham bhajE'ham bhajE'ham
I pray to Lord Raama, the ONE, transcendent, whose name is uttered in the ears of devotees in the city of Kaasi at the time of death, by none other than Lord Shiva as "raama, raama, raama" which denotes the form to "taaraka brahma" that transcends devotees beyond this samsaara of birth and death!
