అహం అవ్యయః

తాపత్రయ వినిర్ముక్తో దేహత్రయ విలక్షణః |
అవస్థాత్రయ సాక్ష్యస్మి అహమేవాహమవ్యయః ||

taapatraya vinirmuktO dEhatraya vilakshaNaH
avasthaatraya saakshyasmi ahamEvaahamavyayaH

తాపత్రయ వి+నిర్+ముక్తః = completely freed the self from the three types of heats (adhi bhautika, adhi daivika, adhi atmika taapas cause restlessness)

దేహత్రయ విలక్షణః = having understood that the self is different and distinct from the three bodies (sthoola deha is annamaya kosha, sookshma deha is a combination of pranamaya, mano maya, vijnaanamaya koshas; kaarana deha is the aanandamaya kosha which is the causual body; SELF is distinct from all these three bodies.)

అవస్థాత్రయ సాక్ష్యస్మి = having realized the self as the witness in all the three states of being (jagrat, swapna, sushupti avasthas are always witnessed by the SELF alone)

అహం ఏవ అహం అవ్యయః = I am THAT I AM who is indeclinable!
