సర్వ ధన ప్రధానం - విద్యా ధనం

న చోర హార్యం న చ రాజ హార్యం
న భ్రాతృ భాజ్యం న చ భారకారి |
వ్యయే కృతే వర్థత ఏవ నిత్యం
విద్యా ధనం సర్వ ధన ప్రధానం ||

దొంగల చేత దోచ బడనిదీ, దొరల(రాజుల) చేత లాగుకొన బడనిదీ, సోదరులచేత పంచుకో బడనిదీ, ఎంత ఉన్నా భారము కానట్టిదీ, వెచ్చించిన కొద్దీ పెరిగేదీ అయినటువంటి విద్యా ధనమే అన్ని ధనములలో ప్రధానమైనది.

vidyA dhanam sarva dhana pradhAnam.



The wealth of knowledge is the best / important wealth as it could not be robbed by the robbers, it could not be taken away by the government, it could not be partitioned by the brothers, it will not become heavy to carry as accumulated, it grows even when spent / shared.
