Si, va are the two letters (varnas) they are the wings of the swan that can take one to the supreme. They are the two banks of the infinite ocean of births and deaths. The two leaves of the sprout of realization. They are kept safely in the depths of deep heart caves of vedas. They are two grinding stones for the seeds of the forest of worldly life. 

The mahamantra of two letters Siva is expounded by sages. It is not different from the mahAmantra known as rAma 🙏🙏
