karmaNi akarma yaH paSyat akarmaNi ca karma yaH;
saH buddhimAn manushyEshu saH yuktaH kRtsna-karma-kRt.

One who sees inaction in action; also sees action in inaction. Such wise person, a yOgi becomes accomplished in all actions!

1. Seeing inaction in action: Today's world everyone is busy. No one seems to have time even to think. But what is the outcome of such "busyness"? Is there any real everlasting result is gained? Each person should think about "What is action?" and "What is inaction?" and how to reconcile action and inaction.

Action is performance of duties. Inaction is keeping the mind still. Seeing inaction in action is to perform duties unperturbed while mind firmly on God.

2. Seeing action in inaction: There is a large amount of lethargy and laziness in the world as well. Is it the stillness? One should think about such inaction as well. Sitting idle at some place expecting and being anxious about results or worrying about past is not "inaction" there is lot of mental action involved in it.

Having proper understanding of "inaction" i.e., removal of anxiety and worry and the ability to see such hidden mental action that makes one very very tired is seeing action in inaction.

One who can achieve perfection in both seeing inaction in action and action in inaction is wise! (buddhimAn-manushya) also a yOgi (yuktaH which means balanced, intellegent)

3. Accomplished all actions: Fulfilled all action, attained the ultimate result of all actions! Completed all actions. ALL ACTIONS!!

Such a sage is the one who has completed all actions and attained the ultimate!

World and Agitation

By whom the world is not agitated;  By world who is not agitated, who is freed from joy, sorrow, fear and agitation; Who, He is dear to me.

Devotee who is not disturbed by the world, and who do not disturb the world and freed from joy of success, sorrow of failure, fear and anxiety is the one who is dear to the God. Such is the position of jagadgurus....

Studying the discussions with jagadgurus that were recorded, this point came up multiple times....

Oh guru, The flow of thy kaTAksha i.e., compassionate glance, that flows from the forehead of vedas i.e., upanishads, is capable of fulfilling the lives of all those who bow down at your lotus feet; it is capable of making them cross over the difficult ocean of samsara they are stuck in. Let it fall on me as well!

For a realized man there are two wives on both sides called satyata i.e., truthfulness and Ekata i.e., oneness just like the beautiful twin stars of viSAkha are of both sides to the moon, giving bliss to composed mind!

The purpose of visit to this world in the form of Adi Sankara for the supreme lord is like this:

"Those who have fell into the darkness of ignorance which is very difficult and fearful (ajnAna antar gahana patitAnAm), and those who are being roasted by the flames of miseries in this world (bhava dava SikhA tApa pApacyamAnAn); to provide protection and make them cross over the difficulties and miseries (trAtum lOkAn) by advising them on their own true nature (by Atma vidya upadesa!), having left the silence (muktvA maunam), leaving the banyan tree (vaTaviTapinO mUlatO nishpatantI), comes forward the supreme lord Sambhu (one brings auspiciousness) into this world in the form of SamkaracArya!!"

His Holiness Swami Virajeshwara Saraswati
When there is lotus feet of guru, when there is boundless compassion in his glance and when there is his teaching (whatsoever if there is, other than the graceful silence!); What else greater need for fulfilment of life?

Samkara bhagavatpAdAcArya stated this in his work svAtma nirUpaNam. Remembering my Guru who made my life fulfilled by his divine grace on the eve of 65th vardhanti of ananta SrI vibhUshita bhAratI tIrtha mahAswami, current SankarAcArya of SringEri SAradA pITham.

Let one and all make their lives fruitful i.e, achieve 'janma sAphalyam' by the teachings of unbroken lineage of gurus!

Sambhu i.e, the lord of transformation, svayambhu the lord of creation and hari the lord of sustainability; this trinity also been made to work for their ladies pArvati, saraswati and lakshmi by the power of that lord who is having makara dhvajam (manmadha i.e., the lord of desire) and whose ability and history can't be described in words, for him I bow down!

While the crescent moon adorned on the forehead appears like the tip of the fire and the manmadha (god of desires) falls in it like a locust being burnt away; the internal ignorance which is completely removed by the light emitted within the minds of yOgis, let the victory be to the light of knowledge in the form of Hara i.e, the supreme lord!
