నిత్యానిత్యము లెఱుఁగుచు సత్యంబగుదానిఁ దెలిసి సత్కృత్యములన్‌
నిత్యముజేయుచు దశదిక్స్తుత్యముగా మెలఁగుమన్న గువ్వలచెన్నా! 59

ఎప్పటికైనను మృత్యువు తప్పదని యెఱింగియుండి తగినచికిత్సం
దప్పింప నెఱుఁగకత్తఱి గుప్పున నేడ్చెదరదేల? గువ్వలచెన్నా! 104
 
జరయును మృత్యువు మొదలుగ మరలఁగ రాకుండునట్టి మార్గంబేదో
గురుతెఱుఁగఁ జేయుమని శ్రీ గురుగురుని భజియింపవలయు గువ్వలచెన్నా! 105

To get the right direction to the path of non repetition of old age and death, one should pray to a realized sage for rightly recognizing such a path. O guvvala cenna! (105)

నీట వెలసినలవణంబు నీటఁ గలియు
నీరు గాకుండ దారీతి నిశ్చయముగ;
శివుని దలఁచిన జీవుండు శివుఁడు గాఁదె,
నవ్యతరభోగి శ్రీసదానందయోగి.

అంధేందూదయముల్ మహాబధిరశంఖారావముల్ మూకస
ద్గ్రంథాఖ్యాపనముల్ నపుంసకవధూకాంక్షల్ కృతఘ్నావళీ
బంధుత్వంబులు భస్మహవ్యములు లుబ్ధద్రవ్యముల్ క్రోడస
ద్గంధంబుల్ హరిభక్తి వర్జితుల రిక్తవ్యర్థసంసారముల్.

---ప్రహ్లాదుడు హిరణ్యకశిపునితో, భాగవతం, సప్తమ స్కంధం నుంచి

andha indUdayamu = a beautiful moon rise to a blind man
mahA badhira SankhArAvamu = a wonderful sound generated by blowing a conch shell to a completely deaf man
mUka sadgrandha AkhyApanamu = teaching great oratory works to a dumb person
napumsaka vadhU kAnksha = the desire of searching a bride for an impotent one
kRtaghnAvaLI bandhutvamulu = the relationships where the help is always ignored (and not returned in any way!)
bhasma havyamulu = trying to pour ash into a fire sacrifice
lubdha dravyamulu = the monies accumulated by a miser
krODa sadgandhamulu = the fragrance applied to a pig

All the above are the examples of achievements and lives of those who are devoid of devotion to Lord SrI hari which are hallow and useless.

శాంతిన్ బొందితిఁ జాలుఁజాలు బహురాజద్వారసౌఖ్యంబులన్

I have enjoyed enough of pleasures granted by the cupid (rati-rAja manmatha);
I became tranquil by enough of successes attained by visiting & convincing powerful kings (leaders / CEOs etc.,)  of this world.
I will attain permanent peace by treading the path of realization of the ultimate bliss (brahma-pada-rAja-dvAra-saukhambu) by thy grace O lord of SrI kAlahasti! I will surely get beyond all the anxieties and attain that peace. I am sure....

శారద - సర్వద

शारदा शारदाम्भोजवदना वदनाम्बुजे ।
सर्वदा सर्वदाऽस्माकं सन्निधिं संनिधिं क्रियात् ॥

శారదా శారదాంభోజవదనా వదనాంబుజే
సర్వదా సర్వదాస్మాకం సన్నిధిం సంనిధిం క్రియాత్

SAradA SAradAmbhOja-vadanA vadanAmbujE
sarvadA sarvadA'smAkam sannidhim saMnidhim kriyAt


-- A prayer to Goddess SArada (seen in the beginning of 4th sarga of raghuvamSam of mahAkavi KAlidAsa)

O Goddess SAradA! (who is having) the face like fully bloomed lotus of Sarad Rtu! O sarva+dA (sarva=everything, da=capable of giving; so sarvada is the one who is capable of giving everything i.e., the goddess of knowledge) always in our speech (sarvadA asmAkam vadanAmbujE) reveal (cause - kriyAt) and point towards (sannidhim) hidden treasure of TRUE knowledge (sat+nidhim - true supreme knowledge).

vAgdEvi or SArada or saraswati reveals herself in the faculty of speech which is called vadana. Only due to right knowledge one can achieve anything. She is sarvada as well. She should finally bestow the supreme knowledge that confers moksha!

నర మేషం - కాల వృకం

దారా ఇమే మే, పశవశ్చ మే మే, ధనాని మే మే, ఇత్థం నరో మేష సమాన కంఠః అహోహ్యయం కాల వృకేణ నీతః

మే - అంటే సంస్కృతం లో "నాకు" లేదా "నాది" అనే అర్థం వస్తుంది. సామాన్యంగా నరులు "ఈ భార్య నాది నాది", ఈ పశువులు నావి నావి", ఈ ధనం నాది, ఇంకా నాకు కావాలి" అంటూ ఉంటారు. మేక కూడా "మే మే" అని అరుస్తూ ఉంటుంది.

అయ్యో! ఇలా జరుగుతూ ఉండగా, కాలం (మృత్యువు) లోడేలు (వృక) రూపంలో (తెలియకుండా వచ్చి)నరులను కబళించి వేస్తుంది కదా!!

--- ఈ శ్లోకాన్ని శ్రీ శ్రీ భారతీ తీర్థ మహాస్వామి గురువుగారు శ్రీ శ్రీ శ్రీ అభినవ విద్యాతీర్థ మహాస్వామివారు చెపుతూ ఉండేవారట. ఆలా అని ఒక అనుగ్రహ భాషణం లో శృంగేరీ జగద్గురువులు సెలవిచ్చారు.

dArA imE mE, paSavaSca mE mE, dhanAni mE mE, ittham narO mEsha samAna kanThaH ahOhyayam kAla vRkENa nItaH

In Sanksrit, "mE" means "for me" or "mine". Usually man keeps bleating "this wife is mine and for me", "these animals are mine and more for me" and "this money is mine and need more for me" like a goat. Alas! as this bleating is going on, the kAla (time in the form of death which is not apparent) is taking away the man goat!

నేకాకృతి వెలుఁగు నతని నే సేవింతున్

లోకాలు, వాటి అధిపతులు, వానిలో ఉండే జీవులు అన్నీ తెగిన తరువాత అలోకమైన (శూన్యమైన) పెను చీకటి (పెంజీకటి) ని దాటి ఏకాకృతిలో వెలిగే జ్యొతి తత్త్వాన్ని నేను సేవిస్తాను.
